OUTCOME
Early 20th Century townhouse. Terraced family home over 4 floors
Etterbeek, Brussels 1040

Renovation of 3 floors executed in phases:
Phase 1: First floor master bedroom & ensuite bathroom. Ground floor entrance hall.
Phase 2: Ground floor - kitchen, dining room & family room.
Phase 3: Basement - boot room, teenagers' den, guest toilet & corridor (study area)
Detailed bathroom design (3D models, technical drawings, colour schemes, selection of furniture & fittings), bespoke joinery design & commissioning. Detailed kitchen design with kitchen supplier & overseeing its installation. Budgeting, room designs, product sourcing, project management, fixtures & fittings specifications, styling & completion.
These 3 projects were executed over a period of 4 years (COVID lockdown in between!). The first floor was completely re-designed with walls and doorways removed in order to optimize the layout. The original bathroom was made smaller to allow for more storage space in the adjoining bedroom. The soft green colour palette in the main bedroom created a relaxing, calm space, as per the clients' brief. Walls were partially removed on the ground floor (and oak flooring installed throughout) to open up the space more, yet allowing each separate room to be closed-off when required using double glass doors. In the basement, I created a cosy & comfortable den for the teenagers, with a bright study area and a beautiful adjoining guest toilet. A green-based colour palette was used throughout the basement.
